GOOD MORNING, NIGERIA!

GOOD MORNING, NIGERIA!
GOOD MORNING, MY BELOVED COUNTRY!
May the countenance of the God of heaven and earth shine on you to favour you and to bless.
May your sons and daughters see better days...
Oh God Almighty! We cry to You our Help, please, LET OUR TIME OF REFRESHING COME FROM YOUR PRESENCE. WIPE OUR TEARS; CONSOLE GRIEVING FAMILIES; COMFORT ALL WHO MOURN IN NIGERIA. RESTORE OUR LOST FORTUNES and GLORY -may our LOST CHILDREN, MOTHERS and FATHERS RETURN TO US. MAY THERE BE GREAT REJOICING IN OUR HOMES, STREETS AND CAMPS...
LORD, WE CHOSE LIFE, NOT DEATH!

NIGERIA, MY NIGERIA, MOURN NO MORE!
In the name of Jesus, I speak
PEACE to NIGERIA
PEACE to OUR FAMILIES
PEACE to OUR BOYS and MEN
PEACE to OUR GIRLS AND WOMEN
PEACE to OUR CHILDREN/BABIES (and UNBORN)
PEACE to OLD AND YOUNG
PEACE to OUR LEADERS/GOVERNMENT
PEACE to US.
OH PEACE... PEACE TO US!
PEACE TO NIGERIA!

Father!
May our enemies both within and without be at peace with us, as we seek to please you, O God. And HELP US TO DO YOUR WILL, in Jesus name.

Happy New Year, my brothers and sisters! Please, PRAY more FOR OUR COUNTRY, NIGERIA. And as we pray, let us also make every effort to do things that will promote a good image of Nigeria and also foster unity among us all. It is our duty to preserve our Country among the countries of the world. But if we quarrel, fight, hurt one another; if we kill one another; how shall we survive? And how can our Beloved country, Nigeria thrive? A house, a kingdom that is divided against itself can never stand on it's own let alone have the strength to withstand it's (external) enemies. If we LIVE IN THE FEAR OF GOD, we will have peace within, without and all around us.
Of Course, I STILL BELIEVE WE CAN BUILD THIS BLESSED COUNTRY TOGETHER. Nevertheless, IF WE DON'T DO IT; KNOW ONE EVER CAN.
Dear fellows, WHAT IS YOUR ROLE IN THIS? You can take it ONE STEP AT A TIME, STARTING WITH YOUR VERY NEXT NEIGHBOUR, FRIEND, FAMILY or ENEMY.

IT IS WELL WITH US.
NIGERIA, LIVE; YES, YOU MUST LIVE, NIGERIA!
LONG LIVE NIGERIANS!

I LOVE MY COUNTRY; YES, I DO.

Happy Children's Day!

Wow! It's another Children's Day!
So 'Nido woke up one beautiful morning and here is what she had on her mind-
"THE BEST GIFT WE CAN GIVE TO OUR CHILDREN IS LOVE."
But that's rather ambiguous, you'll agree with me -LOVE is a very wide concept! Therefore, I seek your opinions on this, friends? If you agree with me that indeed the best gift we can offer our children is love, can we have a list of divers ways or means through which WE CAN DEMONSTRATE LOVE OUR CHILDREN (and other kids)? I mean practical ways and you might want to share your personal experiences as a child or with your kids.
Thanks for always being there, lovely people! I love you all!

...JOY to your hearts!

On LIFE'S TRACK...

A man was driving along a street when suddenly, he noticed a little child just playing nonchalantly right in the middle of the road. As he approached the child, he slowed down, pulled up and waited until the child had left the road; then he drove past slowly. Just after he moved his vehicle, the mother of the child with some neighbours who were on their way to get the child off the road saw, from a distance, the driver’s display of a humane attitude and they were very pleased so they blessed him; and though he couldn’t hear their heartfelt prayers, I’m sure their blessings must have pursued him. (Don’t you think?) But he never had any idea of what happened after he had left!

Now, there was another who drove carelessly this particular night when it had just stopped raining and there were puddles of water here and there. This guy just sped off carelessly along the street, splashing the milky brown water on anyone that was available! Oh! It wasn’t funny at all! I guess you’ve been there too? On a “good” day, you have to return home to change your attire, if you still can meet up with your program! Especially if you got that on your white fabric… sorry! So what was the consequence? Oh! It rained (again) heavily! I mean they rained dangerous “cat and dog” curses on this guy! Some of his “victims” continued to curse until a passerby had to intervene on his behalf. But the deed was done already! Did he know what had transpired after he drove past? No way!

The lesson is this –be careful what you do on (your) life’s track. You don’t want to incur curses on yourself, do you? Then engage in activities, behaviours, imbibe and demonstrate qualities/values that will attract approval and blessings!

Do have a blessed and a favourable week! Love from here!
… JOY to your beautiful hearts!

Get PASSION FIRST

PASSION is what DRIVES you to achieve your desires NOT MONEY. It's a sheer waste of time and resources to just sit idly, complaining, "I don't have money." If you have passion, you are not only going to accomplish your desire but it will also earn you wealth. You may not have money but if you've got passion, you'll make a fortune!
Trust me, you need PASSION MORE THAN (you think) you need CASH.
So dear, Get Up; STIR UP YOUR DRIVE, your PASSION and just do something worthwhile!

A Young Barber's Plight

Hi everyone!
How was your weekend? I'm glad to have you here again. Let's look at this life issue together and please, do not hesitate to drop your opinion in the comment box.

A young man narrated his experience to me about reactions towards his choice of career in his immediate environment -

"...When I did my training on barbing, nobody complained. Fine. After that, I decided to add hairdressing to my skill but when I mentioned my intention to those around me; my family members, church members and friends........ The response I got was widely different from was I thought. I think I don't want to do it any longer. To my family, it was like I was speaking a strange language, "Are you out of your mind?" Hmmm... A friend categorically told me that I've run mad! As for some few church members who heard about it they were like, "You? A man? Going to learn hairdressing? So you want to start making hair for women and girls? God forbid!" And so on.
I think I'm confused and I'm giving up the idea."

What do you think, reader? Would you suggest that he should  just give it up? Let's hear from you (with clear and practical reasons, pls).

...JOY to your heart, people!
