Are you thinking "I've waited TOO LONG."? or "I have gone TOO FAR to go back."? (if in relationship), LET GOD... It's better NOW for "IT NEVER GETS TOO LATE UNTIL YOU'RE MARRIED!"

When it comes to marriage (especially), don't choose by SIGHT or INSIGHT... don't ever handle it by what you see or what entices you (now), LET GOD lead you and choose for you. Leave it to GOD who knows everyone and the(ir) future, IF you DON'T want to REGRET it.
(*You must have heard this before; now you're reading it again... IT NEVER GETS TOO LATE UNTIL YOU'RE MARRIED!)
... JOY to your heart!

Starving Children as a Disciplinary Measure - Is it Wise?

Something struck my mind while I was going through some of the training measures suggested under the latest post (in the sister group of this blog - "Heart Clinic with 'Nido" on facebook), which I would like us to consider. When children err, one of the disciplinary methods many parents resort to is to starve the child. And you will hear things like, "I'm not going to feed you today and I will make sure you don't take any food from this house to school today! You better go and look for where to get your food for the next three (3) days because there is nothing for you in this house not even pocket money! Let hunger teach you a lesson..." and so on"
Now, my question is, have you experienced this before? Whether your answer is "Yes" or "No", would you encourage such measure, considering the possible consequences? Would you also treat your children same way?

When your 12 years old Son Disrespects you...

I think this ONE demands a rapid attention! (Please, drop your suggestions. Thanks.)
“I’m Julianah by name,
My 12 yrs old only son has refused to give me my due respect as his mother, despite all attempts I’ve made to control the attitude. He treats me like his age mate. Though I love playing and chatting with him just like friends. But I think he is taking my lenience for granted. But I don’t think it is best to be too hard on him. He’s the only one I’ve got. Please, suggest a remedy that can work for me; it’s really getting out of hand now.”
