The #story was told about a young girl -a #teenager, to be precise, whose father was sleeping with her! Aw...
It happened several times; and as a matter of fact, very frequently
until it became a regular affair. As life would deal harshly with her
again, her uncle, (I suspect he discovered a "family secret" and)
decided to take advantage of the ugly situation to get his own share of
the national... "family cake" too! (jokes apart though) So it went on
and on until suddenly, the young woman
fell seriously ill! "What is wrong with you? Why is this getting worse,
defying all treatments?!" The mother kept worrying and pestering but she
wouldn’t respond and when she did, she never gave any meaningful one.
Then one day, a test was carried out on her, since her situation only
got worse! And the result of the test... Hmmm... She had contacted...
EBOLA... Ops! Did I just say EBO... Oti o! That was a slip of "lips"!
Lol! (that was just on a light note, friends
) She contacted... You know that deadly sexually transmitted disease
now! Okay… (let’s leave it there.) "What?! How did you get this?!" That
was all the mother could scream. Of course at this stage, there was no
need to ask too many questions... It was at this point and in
uncontrollable flood of tears that she (the girl) let out the "scary,
big, black, wild cat” -"My father and my uncle have been sleeping with
me. They threatened and warned me not to tell anyone."
Hmmm… This is very pathetic, you will agree with me. And to think the #victim couldn’t make any attempt to get help… It’s #disheartening.
