SUICIDE! Is it a wise Option?

While reading one of my favourite blog sites today, (www.gistplanet.com/2013/10/nigerian-woman-commits-suicide-in-abuja.html?m=1), I read a very #disheartening #story about one Asampete Fatima Usman, a #graduate of the #University
of Maiduguri, who committed #suicide after sending suicide notes, to her friends about her intention to #kill herself... but they thought she
was joking.
#Folks, no matter how bad it seems, never ever think suicide. It's not just ur life that is hard, everyone else's life is, we just find ways to rise above our #challenges, focus on the few things that make us happy and make life meaningful, keep having #hope, never lose our heads and keep having a #positive inner conversation. I know sometimes, it gets really confusing, all hazy and less meaningful, you have to learn to talk to other folks, have fun, disconnect from these problems and do that one thing that truly, really makes you happy. Above all, don't walk alone, walk with your #creator, the brain behind the universe, the one who can never sell you out or turn you in. At first it might seem difficult and weird, but with each passing day, you will find you are sustained, hopeful and encouraged to move on. When you drive at night, you don't see your destination from your starting point, all you need to see is the next few metres, but as long as you have a #destination in mind and your #headlights, you will definitely get there. Life is like that sweetheart, and the #designer knows best. Just talk to him right now, tell him exactly how you feel and tell him you trust his #abilities. Please, please and please folks, never ever think suicide. Good night folks.

 

Vincent Airadion Thanks dear! Come to think about it, no normal human being, no matter the problem, would think suicide. One of the characters of Satan and demons is Killing! They do that through #abortion, #murder, #air-crash, motor accident, #ship-wreck, SUICIDE, #bomb #explosion, diseases etc. His work(SUICIDE) begins in our thoughts. That is why the Bible talks about "casting down #imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God" (2 Cor. 10:5a). Thereafter, we should renew our minds daily, to know what is good, acceptable and perfect will of God(Romans 12:1). Only those that are born of God through Jesus Christ, can #overcome the god of this world. God is with us!

 

Klunonido Bisola Ajo As long as we remain here on earth, we'll only be deceiving ourselves to think that we're not going to have #problems. We must face challenges and they come in #degrees. The truth is that, it is not peculiar to one individual. I mean, somebody had been there before; someone is presently in the process and another will still go through same –you are not the only one. (I don’t know who is reading this) YES! YOU ARE NOT THE ONLY ONE –many of us have been there; some have faced even worse situations. When we face challenges, the devil takes #advantage of the weak mind, he suggests a list of fast and easy but #dangerous solutions to us; his aim is “TO STEAL, TO KILL and TO DESTROY”. But YOU CAN CHOOSE TO LIVE! At times, you feel like you’re going to die so you think it’s best to end it yourself and quickly. But that’s not the way. Beware, SUICIDE OPENS UP THE GATES TO ETERNAL SUFFERING; UNLESS YOU CAN ALSO COMMIT ANOTHER SUICIDE OVER THERE. (#jokes apart) We mess up sometimes; fine! We all know that. But it’s not the end of life! Talk to somebody who can assist; live with it (if you have to) and be hopeful that it will #expire someday. Are you to #blame for whatever #predicament you’re faced with? Admit it. Retrace your steps. Ask for #forgiveness where and from whom it is necessary. #Forgive yourself. Make necessary corrections. GET UP and just MOVE ON with life. SUICIDE IS NOT AN #OPTION; please, don’t even think or #imagine it. If you kill yourself or die for it, you make yourself a #COWARD, a #WEAKLING and A #FAILURE! You don’t have to die… Why should you kill yourself? Please, drop the rope, drop the gun, drop the knife… STOP! DON’T #HARM YOURSELF -you can’t poison yourself now… Have you considered that your life does not even belong to you? YOU DON’T HAVE THE RIGHT TO TAKE YOUR LIFE. I just want to tell somebody out there that “THERE IS HOPE FOR YOU TOO”. “SUICIDE IS NOT AN OPTION”, please. THE FOX AND THE CROW -A Story

Hello, friends!

Tonight, I’ll like to tell you a #bedtime story. I do hope you remember the #story of

“The Fox and The Crow”. (Let’s do it again!)

A #Fox once saw a #Crow fly off with a piece of #cheese in its beak and settle on a branch of a tree.

     "That's for me, as I am a Fox," said #Master Reynard, and he walked up to the foot of the tree.

     "Good day, Mistress Crow," he cried. "How well you are looking today: how #glossy your #feathers; how bright your eye. I feel sure your voice must surpass that of other birds, just as your #figure does; let me hear but one song from you that I may greet you as the #Queen of Birds."

     The Crow lifted up her head and began to caw her best, but the moment she opened her mouth the piece of cheese fell to the ground, only to be snapped up by Master Fox.

     "That will do," said he. "That was all I wanted. In exchange for your cheese I will give you a piece of #advice for the #future: "Do not trust #flatterers."

Never forget: ALL FLATTERERS ARE LIARS! It will cost you your precious if you pay attention to them.
